YBhg. Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mohd. Zuki Haji Kamaluddin
Chairman

YBhg. Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mohd Zuki's appointment as Chairman followed an eight year service on the Board of Austral Enterprises Berhad. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1973, having qualified as a Barrister-at-Law from Lincoln's Inn in 1972. On the political front, he was the State Executive Councillor and Speaker of the State Assembly in Pahang Darul Makmur. YBhg.Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mohd Zuki also served as Pahang's State Assemblyman for Benta from 1978 until 1995 when he was appointed Senator.

YBhg.Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mohd Zuki comes to the I&P chair as an astute corporate captain. He was director of the Pahang State Economic Development Corporation [SEDC ] and also a director of Bank Pertanian Malaysia. YBhg.Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mohd Zuki also sits on the boards of Tomypak Holdings Berhad, Digiphonic Sistem Sdn.Bhd, Amanah Saham Pahang Berhad, Heitech Padu Berhad and Cosmovision Production Sdn.Bhd.

Dato' Ir. Jamaludin Osman
Group Managing Director

Dato' Ir. Jamaludin Osman was formerly Managing Director of Syarikat Perumahan Pegawai Kerajaan Sendirian Berhad (SPPK). He graduated with a Bachelor (Hons) in Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and later completed a Management Development Programme with the Asian Institute of Management in 1992. He is a registered professional engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and a member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia.

Dato' Ir. Jamaludin has worked his way up in the industry. He started out as a civil engineer with the Development Authority of Pahang Tenggara in 1979 and subsequently with Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur. In 1981 he joined Petronas as a Project Engineer. After which he spent 19 fruitful years at SPPK. This served as a platform for him to nurture his marketing and management skills, which led to his appointment as Managing Director of SPPK in 1999.

YAM Tunku Tan Sri Imran Ibni Tuanku Jaafar

Tunku Imran, 57, obtained an LLB [Hons] from Nottingham University in 1970 and was called to the Bar at Gray's Inn in 1971. His long and distinctive career included stints at PERNAS, Haw Par Group and the Antah Group of Companies. He is chairman of the Petra Group, Aluminium Company of Malaysia Berhad, Lafarge Malayan Cement Berhad and Minho [M] Berhad. He also sits on the board of Hwang-DBS [M] Berhad.

Tunku Imran is a director of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies [ISIS] Malaysia and a member of the Malaysian-British Business Council [MBBC]. He is also the immediate Past President of Heritage Trust of Malaysia.

A previous Sportsman Of The Year, Tunku Imran is President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia, a member of the National Sports Council of Malaysia, President of the Malaysian Cricket Association, and founding Chairman of the Foundation for Malaysian Sporting Excellence [SportExcel]. He is also patron of the World Squash Federation, an executive board member of the International Cricket Council, and Vice President of the Commonwealth Games Federation.

Datuk Siti Maslamah Osman

Datuk Siti Maslamah Osman is a former Accountant General of Malaysia. A highly respected fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK, she was appointed as Deputy Accountant of Malaysia (Management) in 1996 and served as Deputy Accountant in Operations in 2000. Prior to her retirement in October 2004, she had servec the Government for 31 years, in the fields of accounting and information technology, with various department agencies.

Currently Datuk Siti Maslamah Osman is a Director of CIMA (Malaysian branch), Director of Takaful Malaysia and listed companies such as Avenue Capital Resources Berhad, Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad, BIMB Holdings Berhad and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad.

Prof. Datuk Dr. Nik Mohd Zain Nik Yusof
Non-Independent, Non-Executive

Prof. Datuk Dr. Nik Mohd Zain graduated with Honours from University of Malaya, obtained his Masters in Wisconsin, USA and later gained a PhD in law from the University of Kent, UK.

A renowned and respected figure in land development and land administration, Prof. Datuk Dr. Nik Mohd Zain Nik Yusof brings vast local and international experience through his years of involvement in various councils, committees and land settlement schemes. He previously held key positions in both private and government bodies such as Director of Bank Rakyat and FELDA Group of Companies; Director-General of Department of Land and Mines; Secretary General of Ministry of Land and Cooperative Development; and Federal Land Commissioner of Malaysia. In 2002 he represented Malaysia on the disputed over Pulau Sipadan and Pulau Ligitan at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in Hague, Holland.

Currently Prof. Datuk Dr. Nik Mohd Zain served as a professor at the School of Land Administration and Land Development of University Technology Malaysia from 2003 to 2005.Currently he runs his own land and property consulting company called BIG Property Consultant Sdn.Bhd. He also sits on the boards of Syarikat Perumahan Pegawai Kerajaan Sdn. Bhd. (SPPK) and Eastern & Oriental Berhad; a member of the Malaysian Administrative & Diplomatic Service; and the Chairman of Yayasan Peneroka Negara.
Ms Hooi Lai Hong
Independent, Non-Executive

Ms Hooi is a former Deputy President and Executive Director of Malayan Banking Berhad. She holds an honours degree in economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science, University of London.

Her career at Malayan Banking Berhad spans 22 years and exposed her to various aspects of banking with a focus on Finance & Treasury. Starting out in 1982 as Head of Department for Business Procurement Improvement, she was appointed Deputy President-cum-Executive Director in 2002.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England & Wales and the Malaysian Institute of Banks, Ms Hooi is also a member of the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She also sits on the boards of Mayban Discount Bhd and Aseambankers (M) Bhd.

Ir. Dr. Haji Muhamad Fuad bin Abdullah

Ir. Dr. Haji Muhamad Fuad is a multifaceted professional who holds a honours degree and a Masters of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southhampton, as well as an honours degree in Syariah from Jordan University and a PHD in Muslim Civilisation from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. A Fellow of the Instituition of Engineers, Malaysia (FIEM), and a registered Professional Engineers(PEng) with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia, he is also a Syariah lawyer, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and an Accredited Mediator with the Construction Industry Development Board. Beyond that he is also an ASEAN Engineer(ASEANEng) and an International Professional Engineer(IntPE).

He began his career in 1977 as an electrical engineer with Jabatan Kerja Raya. In 1984 he joined Uniphone Sdn Bhd as an Engineering Logistics Manager, after which he became an academician for 5 years as a tutor with University Kebangsaan Malaysia and later as a Vice President of Kolej Uniti.

Currently, Ir Dr Haji Muhamad Fuad is the Managing Director of Five-H Associates Sdn Bhd, an engineering consultancy, and sits on the board of Institut Kefahaman Malaysia(IKIM) and Malaysian Industrial Development Finance (MIDF)Berhad.

Encik Zainal Abidin Bin Jamal
Independent, Non-executive

Encik Zainal Abidin, 51, an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia is a founder and senior partner with Messrs. Zainal Abidin & Co., an established law firm in Kuala Lumpur. He read law at the University of Singapore where he graduated with LLB (Hond) in 1979


He was enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1980 and the High Court of Brunei in 1982 and had served as a First Class Magistrate in the Judicial Department, Brunei. He has also held the position of Company Secretary of Harrison Malaysian Plantations Berhad.

He is non-executive director of several private and public companies including Mentakab Rubber Company (Malaya) Berhad, Lam Soon (M) Berhad, Malaysia National Insurance Berhad, Kesas Holdings Berhad, Park May Bhd., and Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad and has extensive experience in corporate matters. He has been a memberof the Rating Review Committee of Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad since October 16, 1996.
